The Cape Town Open 2016 speed cubing competition took place on the 26th of June 2016 at the Cape Town Science Centre, Cape Town, South Africa. Stephen Cotterrell won the competition with an average of 13.73 seconds. Lonwabo Mvovo finished second with an average of 14.39, and David Joseph finished third with an average of 16.78.
